Tours can be arranged by calling the office.EligibilityNursery SchoolChildren must be 2 years and 9 months old on the first day of school. No diapers or pull ups.Pre-KChildren who are five years old before December 2 will be eligible for the Pre-K program; children with birthdays between December 3 and January 31 will be admitted upon prior staff approval.School ToursSchool tours are conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m., all year long. Please call to make an appointment. Unfortunately, children are not allowed on the tours.ApplicationsApplications are given at the conclusion of the school tour. Please note that our extended-care program is currently being restructured. Details will be provided as soon as they are available. All rates are subject to yearly increases, typically to allow for pay raises and increased costs. However, because we are a cooperative, all rate changes must be approved by the membership. Financial AidFinancial aid is available and is an important part of our budget. Feel free to ask for paperwork when requesting your application.Admissions CriteriaPreference is given to current members, then siblings of current members, and then alumni. After that we do try to stay in the order of applications filed, though we reserve the right to diversify for age and gender. The parents are not interviewed, and the children are not asked to come in for a play date.CommunicationAfter applying to the school, your point of contact will be the Enrollment Chair. We typically start to make calls about the Fall Session in February.Because of the high volume of applicants, we generally don't notify applicants who have not been accepted. Applicants are welcome to contact the school to find out their status. Based on our waiting list you can often determine the likelihood of a spot becoming available. Summer SchoolWe offer three sessions of summer school. Enrollment is generally lighter during the summer than during our regular sessions. If your incoming child is old enough, Summer School is a great way to get comfortable with the school and the teachers with fewer kids around.
