A: Children need to be potty trained before starting school at Laurel Hill. The children are expected to take care of themselves, although the teachers will provide assistance if necessary. Diapers and pull-ups are not allowed.
- Q: What school do Laurel Hill graduates go to?
Is Laurel Hill a feeder school?
- A: No, Laurel Hill is not a feeder school. Laurel Hill graduates go to a huge range of schools, both public and private.
- Q: Is there an academic program at Laurel Hill? Will my child learn the alphabet?

A: There is no strict academic curriculum at Laurel Hill. Instead the focus is more social. The children learn through play in a rich environment with a multitude of activities and plenty of outdoor space. To learn more, read about our philosophy.
- Q: Is there a scheduled naptime during the school day?
- A: There is a scheduled naptime from 1-2 every afternoon, where a quiet resting area is provided, however the children are not required to have a nap. Additionally, there are couches in every classroom and the children are welcome to rest any time during the day.
- Q: May I enroll my child at mid semester?

A: Yes, although it's entirely dependent upon available space. Of course, your child must still meet the admissions requirements, especially the age requirement of 2 years and 9 months. Your participation
requirements will be the same as other families, although your required work hours and meetings will be prorated appropriately.
