Ways to help
There are many ways to help with fundraising at Laurel Hill.
Our online shopping programs let you choose from hundreds of available
web sites. A percentage of your purchase amount will go to Laurel Hill. Details
our online programs are below.
Local shopping at select merchants can earn money for our
school through the eScrip program. Simply register your credit
card with eScrip and your purchases from participating merchants earn
money automatically.
Our Scrip program can often provide even higher returns. Through
our Scrip provider, United Scrip, you can purchase gift cards for
hundreds of merchants, both local and national and a percentage of your purchase amount goes to
Laurel Hill.

Online Shopping
Laurel Hill currently offers 2 ways to shop online and earn money for
the school:
Amazon.com is the newest way to earn money, and maybe the
easiest. Just click on the link at the top of this page, and 5% (or
more) of your purchase will go to Laurel Hill. There's no need to sign
up for an account, and no need to register your credit card. You just
need to get to Amazon via the link on this page and the rest is
automatic.
eScrip's online component is very simple. You establish an account , you select Laurel Hill as the
beneficiary, and then you browse through the catalog of online sites to start shopping.
When registering for a new eScrip account, you can designate Laurel Hill as your desired beneficiary by using our ID: 139232063.
IMPORTANT NOTE
For eScrip to give credit to Laurel Hill, you must start
your shopping experience by going through their website. For
example: just because Target is associated with eScrip, you cannot
just go directly to the Target website. You must go to the eScrip site
first, click on the Online Mall, and click on a link to Target from
the list of merchants.
NEW: eScrip has software you can download called AutoTrack that will remind you
when you visit a participating website. With this software installed,
you would not need to visit eScrip first. It appears to be available
on Windows only.

Note about Schoolpop: For those of you who had previously signed up for Schoolpop, please
use eScrip or Amazon instead whenever possible. Schoolpop is
currently in bankruptcy and their status is unknown.
Local Shopping
There are two ways to shop locally and earn money for Laurel Hill.
The first, and simplest, is to register with eScrip. Register
your grocery card from a participating market (or your
credit card), then a percentage of your purchases will go to Laurel Hill.

The second way to shop locally is through our Scrip program, which is described in detail
below.
Scrip
Our Scrip program is run by a company called United Scrip. It
is extremely simple to use, but it does require a bit of planning in your spending. Just use
the order form, print it out
(or get a form at school), choose the merchant(s) and the amount you
wish to purchase for each store. Make out a check to Laurel Hill and
put your form and check in the envelope on the fundraising bulletin
board (next to the office).
Once you've received your scrip (typically in the form of a gift
card), you can shop at any time.
You can either buy scrip as a one-time purchase (say, for holiday
shopping), or you can set up a recurring scrip purchase if you know
you use one of the available merchants every month.
Additionally, we do try to keep scrip on hand for the most popular local
merchants. We currently stock certificates for Peet's and Rainbow
Grocery. Just ask Molly.

our various programs
- Register your credit cards and local grocery cards with eScrip.
- Print out or pick up a scrip order form so you're aware of which
merchants are participating
- Shop at participating local merchants
- When shopping online, check eScrip to see if the
merchant offers discounts
- When shopping at Amazon.com, simply start from the link on the
fundraising page to earn 5% (or more!) for Laurel Hill
- Encourage relatives to participate in the
easiest ways possible. Have them bookmark our fundraising page.
