Open Houses
Our Open Houses are fun, informal events where kids can play and explore while adults meet current families, tour the school, and learn about our cooperative model. Children are welcome!
We host three Open Houses per year — in the Fall, Winter, and Spring.

Thursday School Tours
Looking for a more in-depth experience? Join us for a Thursday school tour during the academic year. You’ll get to observe the classrooms, meet staff, and ask questions in a small group setting. Adults only.
Tours offered weekly during the school year. Registration opens 3 weeks prior — Sign up here Summer tours available upon request.

Ready to Apply to Laurel Hill?
We’re excited to share more about our community with you. The application process begins with a visit to the school, followed by an online application. We welcome children ages 2 years and 9 months to 5 years, and offer both Preschool and Pre-K programs. Admission is based on eligibility, space availability, and the order in which applications are received. Our Admissions Coordinator will be your guide throughout the process—we can’t wait to meet you!

Laurel Hill Nursery School welcomes children starting at 2 years and 9 months old by the first day of school. All preschoolers must be fully potty trained—no diapers or pull-ups are permitted.
Our Pre-K program is designed for children turning 5 years old by January 31 of the school year (e.g., turning 5 by Jan 31, 2024, for the 2023–24 school year). Depending on space and individual readiness, we may also consider children just outside the cutoff who are planning to start kindergarten the following year.
Admissions Priority is given in the following order:
Current families
Siblings of current students
Alumni families
All other applicants, in the order received
There are no required parent interviews or child playdates as part of the application process.
Once your application is submitted, our Admissions Coordinator will be your primary point of contact. Fall admissions decisions are confirmed in March.

We offer 6–8 weeks of Summer Camp for current and incoming families.
With smaller group sizes and a relaxed pace, summer camp offers a gentle, fun way for new students to get to know our campus, teachers, and routines before the school year begins.For current dates and availability, please contact the Admissions Office.

Once accepted, the following documents and payments are required:
Child’s medical exam (within the last 12 months)
Tuberculosis, MMR, Tdap results for any working parent/caregiver.
Child history and family background questionnaire
State-required disclosure forms (provided by the school)
Registration fee
First and last month’s tuition payment
